Valley Road Maple Farm -Thurman Business #1018
190 Valley Road Thurman NY 12810 Phone: 518-623-9783 Email: maple1@nycap.rr.com
Sugarmakers Mike Hill and Ralph Senecal boil in a new state of the art sugarhouse. They have 1500 taps on vacuum with a reverse osmosis machine, which takes out 75% of the water before we ever boil. We have a full line of maple products including: maple syrup, maple cream, maple candy, granulated maple sugar, maple roasted peanuts, and our famous maple cotton candy. We were the winners of the Vermont International maple syrup contest for our light amber syrup. At the 2008 New York State Fair we won first prize with our maple candy. We will be open both days of the Thurman Fall Farm Fest, October 11 and 12, serving a delicious pancake breakfast from 9 to 1 and offering tours until 4 p.m.

Sap, Tap N' Lid Maple, Thurman Business #1005
311 Mountain Road Athol NY 12810 Phone: (518) 623-9234 or 623-9546
Sugarmakers Doug and Darrin Needham and Van Baker have been making pure maple syrup for over 9 years. They have well over 600 taps on the southeast side of Kenyontown Mountain connected to a gravity-fed main line that runs directly into a 500-gallon stainless steel storage tan. Then it's boiled in a 3'x 10' wood-fired evaporator. Mmmm, that's good syrup--so good, in fact that our complete supply from 2006 is sold out. Call us in the spring of 2007 for your next year's supply. You can reach us weekdays from 5 - 9 p.m., or weekends 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Please keep trying, as we may be away from our phones.
